Who We Serve
Our Clients:
- Bridges serves clients with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, and mild to severe mental retardation, to name just a few.
- Many of our clients come from challenging economic backgrounds which adds another obstacle in their pursuit of self-sufficiency.
- In addition to a developmental disability, many clients have additional physical disabilities including speech impediments, blindness, or deafness.
- In spite of life's circumstances our clients want to work and are excited about their jobs! These jobs move each client further towards independence and greater self-sufficiency.

- Oklahoma ranks 7th at 10.2% overall for the highest percentage of working age persons with disabilities
- According to the 2000 Census Bureau, in Tulsa County 61,895 people age range 21-64 have a disability
- 16% of the children in Tulsa County have been diagnosed with a developmental disability and will require some form of life care or life supports into their adult years
