Bridges Case Manager, Cindy Cook, recently received the “Best of the Best” award for Direct Support Services in a Vocational Program from the Developmental Disabilities Services Division of the Oklahoma Department of Human Services. Because of her outstanding dedication to her clients, Cindy was chosen out of over one hundred nominations submitted from agencies throughout Oklahoma.
In a video tribute to Cindy’s work, Jeff Summers described Cindy’s dedication. “We’ve had individuals come in off the street who we don’t serve, but who needed assistance. It is not unlike Cindy to spend hours with people just to make sure they are taken care of. That’s just Cindy. If someone needs assistance, she’s going to do her best to make sure their needs are met.”
Cindy has worked at Bridges for over three years, and supports the clients in the Outsource Center as a liaison between clients, families, social workers and staff members. It is evident that she has won the hearts of her clients and has made the difference in dozens of lives here at Bridges.
